Windows 7 Beta Now Available

March 25, 2009

So Microsoft after beating around the bushes with this beta has finally come around and decided that it has enough server capacity to make their Windows 7 beta code available for the public.

Funny enough, I didn’t see any posts referring to this on the Windows 7 blog, but when I went to the Windows 7 page today, I found the following message and was directed to this site to get the code.

“The Windows 7 Beta is now available for download,” Microsoft said on its Web site. “Thanks for your interest and help with the beta.”

The software was supposed to be made available on Friday, but the company delayed the release after a day filled with Web site problems.

  1. Pirates has been using seven since january. Old news!

  2. No doubt, but its funny how their beta site got bombarded with visitors to download their BETA at the time… its old news true… just switching my entries from my old blog… so alot of what is currently on here might be a little outdated at the moment.
